Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Booking Cancellations & Customer Refunds

We understand that travel plans can change dynamically. Because our private 4x4 safaris require dedicated vehicle scheduling and driver-tracker allocation, the following refund tiers apply to all cancellations initiated by the customer:
 

  • 7 Days or More Before Departure: Full refund (100%) of the booking amount minus any credit card processing or gateway fees.
     

  • 48 Hours to 6 Days Before Departure: A 50% refund will be issued, or you may reschedule your expedition to an alternative available date free of charge.
     

  • Less than 48 Hours Before Departure (or No-Show): No refunds will be issued. At this stage, your vehicle and team have been fully locked in and reserved exclusively for your party.
     

2. Park Entry Tickets Notice

Please note that all listed website prices cover the cost of your private safari vehicle, driver-tracker, and local hotel logistics. National Park entry tickets are separate and are not included in your online Wix booking checkout.
 

  • Park entry fees must be purchased directly at the park gates upon arrival via cash or card.
     

  • YalaWales is not responsible for refunding park ticket costs under any circumstances, as these transactions occur directly with the Department of Wildlife Conservation.
     

3. Weather Conditions & Force Majeure

Nature is unpredictable, and safety is our absolute priority.
 

  • Safaris operate normally in light rain.
     

  • In the rare event that the Department of Wildlife Conservation officially closes the park gates due to severe weather, flooding, or safety hazards, you will be offered the choice of an immediate 100% full refund or a complimentary date transfer to the next available slot.
     

4. How to Request a Refund or Reschedule

  • Please include your Wix Booking Order Number and the full name used during checkout to help us process your request swiftly. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
